I'm going to be working on the maps and scripts on the hack, I hope I'll get beta 1 finished.
At least I'm helping him. He gave me the ROM so I could help him with it. Wink

Emerald is not buggy, it is just as good as ruby. In fact IT IS RUBY. As some know, Emerald used Ruby as a rom base. That is why if you look at some of the maps there are still remains from the Magma Base east of Lilycove. And there are others. The only thing wrong with emerald is that after you expand a map BE SURE TO REPOINT THE DATA. As there is very little space between offsets with the new features.

So to clarify, everyone who says Ruby is better than Emerald is wrong. They are the same exact thing, but ruby is slightly better as of more free space and ect.

Actually, I think Emerald is its own base, because there are some added features, but, Nintendo probably just re-made every script and map to it's exact locations, and say the exact things. PLUS, if Emarald WAS using Ruby as a Rom Base, then it would have to be using Sapphire too, because Sapphire is the exact same, just different legendaries, soome different Pokémon, and a different evil team to fight against.

hmm maybe but on route 2 it is really buggy there but thats all iv noticed so far on emerald.
so ill stick with emerald but ill start it all over again, if anyone wants to help mapping scine im sorta busy on my other 2 hacks i will be glad if you helped

No ruk, its ruby. It has the exact same text from R/S because its the same game plus some extra features. Not very much scripting was needed, they just needed to add somemore scripts and sprites and the battle frontier and ruby became emerald.

Anyway since this is really irrelevant to the topic lets stay on track about white isle.
