Forum Terminology

Don't know what a word used commonly on a forum means? You've come to the right place.

Let's get started.

Flaming-- Insulting or just being rude

Trolling -- doing something just to get attention

Bashing -- Same as Flaming

Topic (Thread) -- A place to post with other members about a certain thing.

Reply -- A message in a Thread that has a message for the owner of the thread or one of it's repliers.

Smileys -- Little moving or non-moving pictures that look like a face showing a certain expression.

BBCode -- A code used in forums to make posts appear better and enable certain things to happen.

^ I think maybe we should leave this open incase a term is stated that isin't on this list and a member wants to ask what it means ^^. We can just delete dumb posts if we must. ~RE-Opened~
