Rating Shop #1: Map Rating Thread

Think you did a good job on your map? Well post the image of your map here and see what others thing(try to save it as a .png, it is prettyer that way). The Rating System is simple:

TRy to keep it between 0.0-10.0(yes we use decimals here)

0.0-3.0
-This is a poor map, if you recieve this rating then you need some improvement and there are a lot i tile errors

3.1-6.0
-This is an Average map, moderatly few tile errors, kind of dull.

6.1-10.0
-This map is spectacular, one or two tile errors, awesome palletes.

Be sure to include a reason and descrption when rating a posting.

Map 2: Very nice.
Except, the little mountain at the top of the map(the right one), has tile errors on it, and the front stairs have tile errors...9.7/10

I can tell it's Emerald because of the trees. XD

Rating: 4.2/10
Errors: It's still kind of the same shape as Old Dale, U just switched a house and mart diagonally, and the path is just changed.
Suggestions:Try changing the connections and make it bigger possibly and less square.
Comments: Overall, some of the map is still good.

Errors: The path in the center of the route seems unneeded, and if you could get rid of the tree to the right of first ledge from the top, only one space to walk in doesnt seem...natural
Suggestions: Fix path and tree
Comments: I acually like it, it seems really cool to me(plus i love snow tiles )

Suggestions:Just try to put more things around it instead of a maze of trees .

Ok, Mario Bros., here is your rating:

Map 1:
Rating: 8.5/10
Tile Errors: None
Overall Errors: Too much path, overuse of trees of the same type. 1 Little thing I relized (spelling!) is that there is no sign for the town in the map.
Suggestions: Slim down on the path, and less tress but some more of another type.
Map 2:
Rating: 7/10
Tile Errors: None
Overall Errors: The top-left corner is kinda useless unless an event or an item is up there. The bottom-right house is unaccesable (unless you come from somewhere) and it has no PokeCenter.
Suggestions: More of a different type of tress and add a PokeCenter.

since they both look so similiar I will only rate the second one.

errors-there are no tile errors
Suggestions-Well In my opinion I think these maps are so boring I don't know why but they just do not appeal to me, I suggest using adifferent pallete or maybe tiles just try to spice it up a bit.

Errors- I don't think their are any errors
Suggestions-I think you took the house a little overboard it doeswn't look to good even though your trying to make it like one house, and the blue house in the mountain looks weird...you should try making it like it's supposed to be ...one story.
Comments-You might wanna get rid of the house or at least the peice that's jutting out of it, but overall the map looks good.
